I have worked with Dominic for 30 years at Symm and Company. During this time Dominic has had a number of key roles in the business; first as a Contracts Manager, subsequently as a Senior Contracts Manager and then, working alongside me on the Board of Symm, as Contracts and Safety Director.

Over three decades Dominic has been pivotal to the success of the business; He has led some extraordinarily demanding projects, notably, the fast track refurbishment of Taplow Court, a very large Victorian Gothic country house and, at Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons, a major phase of work dramatically extending this world famous restaurant and hotel, all on time and on budget.

The company's primary focus over this time has been on large country house restoration projects, London town house refurbishments and new build private residences. Dominic's comprehensive construction knowledge, technical problem solving skills, programming expertise and his sharp eye for detail, in this field are outstanding. These skills coupled with his dedication and enthusiasm have made him a key member of the Symm Board.

Dominic is passionate about high quality construction and is equally passionate about giving people career opportunities in the industry. For three decades he has championed craft apprentice and professional management training, both in our business and also in the wider community in Oxfordshire and beyond. Hundreds of people have benefited from his encouragement, guidance and support.
