Private House, Surrey

Benoist Associates Limited were employed to assist with the tender programme generation and subsequent amendments to form the Contract Programme for this large new build private house project.

The project works consisted of a large part basement, sunken garden terrace, traditional reinforced concrete basement construction and to form a three storey house under a lead flat and pitched slate roof with traditional brickwork and natural stone dressings. The entire fabric of the building was constructed by traditional methods including internal and external joinery, plaster and stone surface finishes.

Internally the house was built to the highest standards as one can imagine, the use of digital integration for the majority of the building services environmental functions including a spa, pool and recreation area.

Benoist Associates Ltd were subsequently employed to assist the Principle Contractor with the programme management and progress reporting on a monthly basis and further to assist with their contractual obligations to the clients design and financial teams.  The programme was also written to provide timely information for procurement of information, sub contractors and materials as necessary.

The project is shown as ‘in progress’ to give an idea of the scope and scale, also to preserve client privacy for the finishes finally constructed. The house completed contractually on time and to budget with a very high standard of build quality and adherence to the original performance specification.
